My story
From a young age I've felt a profound curiosity about the human condition--how we relate to one another, make meaning, and develop a sense of identity. I come to this work with a deep desire to bring warmth and compassion to everyone I meet.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from New Mexico State University, and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH61340815). I completed my clinical internship working with individuals with eating disorders. I have worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care treating mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders, with both individuals and groups. I received postgraduate training in DBT, ACT, and RO-DBT, and engage in further advanced clinical training on a regular basis.
About me
Outside of work, I can be found traipsing through the woods of the Pacific Northwest, admiring old architecture, and dreaming of my homeland, the desert of the southwest. My pup, Gertie, can often be found snoozing nearby, dreaming of peanut butter.
